Lizzy Lyon

Lizzy Lyon is a dedicated mentor and champion of youth, with a passion for working with children and teenagers. Lizzy joined JJAB in June 2025 as a Resource Specialist, working primarily with middle school youth. Since relocating to Los Alamos in 2014 with her husband, she has embraced various mentorship roles, primarily within church settings and the broader community. Lizzy believes that the younger generation represents the future leaders of the world, and her goal is to provide them with encouragement and support as they navigate their formative years. In addition to her mentoring work, Lizzy has a deep love for cooking, particularly Italian cuisine. She delights in creating innovative meals for family and friends, fostering a spirit of togetherness and joy around the dinner table. As a proud mother of three, she finds her greatest happiness in spending time with her children. They bring her immense joy, and she cherishes the moments they share, believing that these experiences are the essence of her life. Guided by the motto "People matter more," Lizzy values the connections she makes with others. She is passionate about meeting new people, supporting her friends in everyday life, and helping those in need in any way she can. Inspired by figures like Mother Teresa, she strives to live a life of service to others, embodying selflessness and compassion in her everyday actions.
