Teresa Romero decided at an early age she wanted to work with children. She attended New Mexico Highlands University to pursue her degree in Elementary Education. Since then, she has worked as an Elementary school teacher, Teen Center Director, worked in Foster Care case management, and in Early Intervention with infants and toddlers. She is excited to learn about and assist in implementing the variety of programs JJAB has to offer youth and their families. In her spare time, she enjoys fishing, camping and spending time in the beautiful mountains of Northern New Mexico.
